About us

Established in 2016 and recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Malayalee Samajam of League City (MSOLC) epitomizes the enduring spirit and rich culture of Kerala, India, in the heart of Texas. What began as a gathering of 45 families has flourished, now uniting over 100 families from Galveston County and neighboring areas like Friendswood, Webster, Kemah, Seabrook, Alvin, and Clearlake Shores, along with members from the broader Clearlake area. This diverse mix weaves a tapestry rich in stories, traditions, and shared memories, echoing the essence of Kerala.

Our annual events range from vibrant cultural festivals that evoke Kerala’s spirit to intimate social gatherings fostering friendships and creating lasting memories. These events embody our commitment to knowledge-sharing and mutual respect, allowing members of all ages to delve into Kerala’s traditions while incorporating contemporary influences.

Join us in our journey of celebration, learning, and growth. We honor our roots while embracing the future, embodying the Malayalee Samajam of League City, where the heart of Kerala beats in Texas.
