MSOLC

About Us

How We Began

The story of the Malayalee Samajam of League City (MSOLC) is a story of community, resilience, and cultural pride. In 2016, a small group of 45 Malayalee families residing in the League City area realized the need for a dedicated cultural platform. While Texas offered boundless opportunities, there was a collective yearning for the familiar sounds of Malayalam, the intricate beats of the Chenda, the grand feasts of a Sadya, and the warmth of extended family gatherings.

From those initial parlor meetings and potluck dinners, MSOLC was officially born. Our goal was never just to host events; it was to build an institution that would stand as a testament to the enduring spirit of Kerala right here in the Lone Star State. Today, representing over 100 families, we have become a vital cultural bridge for the Indian-American diaspora in our region.
